Toney Family News & Reviews: About the PinkMama

I'm a stay-at-home mom to a wonderful two-and-a-half year old boy that lights up my world! I also have a husband, a weenie dog, and two divacats who are all housebroken.

I am what I call a PinkMama. I love all things pink, even though I grew up very tomboyish. I have become a "pink and pearls" kinda girl since I grew up and got married. Slowly and surely, I am becoming more high-maintenance, even though I live on the old farmplace and have a hubby and a growing boy. I have struggled to find a blog name that I loved until today. I am "PinkMama!"

We live in the country on a former farm, and are slowly but surely restoring the "farmness" of the place. We have five chickens, a duck, and a rabbit at my mom's. We live in the old pasture behind my mom's; re-fencing that is the next big project because I want some cows.

I am close to finishing my Bachelor's degree in Music Education, pending a senior recital, a portion of the Praxis II, and student teaching. Working outside the home hasn't been conducive to finishing that up. I teach piano lessons, sell Avon, and may get into other ventures in the future that allow me to set my schedule.

I love to share what is going on, what I'm thinking....I'd love to get more involved around here! Social media was meant to be fun and connect people with similar interests, right? We all love our kids and critters. And I'm looking forward to learning about you, too!
