I did kabobs for the first time on the grill the other day. They were wonderful! The hubby liked them, I liked them, my mom liked them, but most importantly, my toddler liked them!
4 chicken breasts cubed
1 large bell pepper, seeded and cut into chunks only slightly larger than the chicken pieces
1 large onion, cut in halves, then wedges
Budweiser honey BBQ sauce or your favorite BBQ sauce
alternate placing the chicken and veggies onto skewers so that each piece of chicken has a pepper slice and onion wedge on either side (P C O C P C O C and so on...). brush the BBQ sauce onto the kabobs just before placing on the grill. Turn the kabobs often so as to prevent sticking and burning. As the kabobs are almost ready, brush on a little more BBQ. Enjoy!
Great served with my mom's potato salad, green beans, and a green salad on a warm spring day. Don't forget the iced sweet tea!
